#SwitcherSaturday is back!

We had a great time a couple weeks ago, posting pictures/videos/comments of our favorite switchers (link here), so let's do it again today.

Here is a picture of my daughter's Vulcan Switcher which came with her Lionel "Pet Shop Diesel LionChief RTR" set (6-81288). My daughter loves the set and the track fits perfectly on a table that I rescued from a dumpster. Clearly it's not a "high end" model, but I'm quite certain my daughter is now hooked for life!

Have a great weekend and I can't wait to see some more switchers!

Best...Rich

p.s. Congratulations to everyone who posted last time, there were a ton of great pictures, videos, comments, and tons of "likes" too!

p.s.s. Miss the post on Saturday? NO BIG DEAL, just keep posting until the next #SwitcherSaturday!

The LionChief Vulcan from the Pet Shop RTR set really doesn't have a lot of pulling power, when you begin adding stock to the set it starts getting a bit sluggish quickly.

Here's a pic of the "underbelly" and a couple videos:

Another video here at this link.

GE 44 tonner was a Rich Yoder offering several years ago. It was upgraded to ERR TMCC control with fabricated electro-couplers from Atlas.

I didn't know Lionel, or anyone for that matter made a Vulcan. There is a retired attorney here in NE PA who is restoring one. He started the project a few years ago, but I don't know the status.

I currently have a 2-8-0 lettered for Seaboard that I periodically use as a switcher:

Some pretty good detail for a Railking engine:

backhead 1

This engine will soon get a new boiler and tender shell, retrofitted back to it's former PRR class H9s glory, except it'll be painted/lettered for the Norfolk & Portsmouth Belt Line:

About all I need to do is relocate the headlight and generator and add that big shelf under the smokebox door.

These look fantastic.  I'm so impressed with the weathering I'm considering getting some beat up cars just to try it out!

Looks great, spent a few minutes Googling for "675 steam" and can't figure out what you've got there.  Would love to see/read other details about it!
