That's curious to see an old Rock Island paint job still running around 35 years after the railroad quit. Certainly brings back memories. I helped do inventory on leased locos on the Rock at Armordale Yard in Kansas City in 1980 ... most of them were a mess from deferred maintenance.

I still have a Rock Island hardhat ... anyone want to trade for ?
