I picked up a block signal at the local swap meet today and did not realize that the item I thought I scored on was meant for tin plate layouts. It is a mth 30-1076, when I got home and unboxed it I see that it is meant for tin plate track. I have a dcs system and was wondering if this is hooked up to my real track would it distort the signals sent to my proto 3 engines? I also do not have a clue what the knob that looks like the head of a screw on the T.A.D  is used for? This signal looks a bit out of place on my layout because of its size so I am thinking maybe I should just call it a loss but I am curious to see it function.
